The Jim Dandy Ski Club is the first Black Ski Club in the United States, and quite likely the world. Founded in 1958, we have evolved into much more than just a ski club. We engage in numerous activities for the young adventurous types as well as mature outgoing adults. If you and your family want to try something new, exciting, and fun, c’mon and roll with the Dandies. We have skied from Mt. Brighton in Michigan to Aspen in Colorado to Stowe in Vermont and most major ski areas in North America. We have skied in Alaska, Canada, France, Austria, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. Wherever there is snow and the opportunity for fun, the Dandies ski there.

“The Executive Board of the Jim Dandy Ski Club (JDSC) definitively states that the accusations of financial improprieties that were: levied against Mark Jackson and Giselle Jackson by JDSC President Alfred Cureau, posted in a YouTube video, and presented at the April 9th general body meeting, are untrue. These accusations were improperly published without Executive Board discussion, and have no merit. The JDSC Executive Board hereby issues a resolution of formal censure of President Alfred Cureau for failing to follow proper JDSC procedures, and for making damaging public accusations against the Jacksons that were not supported by the facts.”
