We will be Kayaking the Huron River from the Barton Dam back to Gallup Park.

For those renting the cost is $26.00. JDSC will transport personal Kayaks and kayakers from Gallup Park to Barton Park for start.

 

Meet at Gallup Park  3000 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 

 Arrive by 8:30 am or you will not find a place to park. Transport to Barton Park at 9:30am

 

This trip starts at the Gallup Livery with a van ride upriver to Barton Park. Then a 2-mile paddle through Argo Pond, then paddling down the fun Argo Cascades and ending with a relaxing paddle down the river current back to Gallup Park where your car is parked. Plan for 4 hours on the River which will include a lunch stop & bathroom stop.
