Dandies and Friends if you think you would enjoy cruising Lake Erie on a large ferry, winery-touring, biking (rent or bring your own) or just chilling then Pelee Island is for you. Pelee Island sits almost smack in the middle of Lake Erie. You can get there only by ferry - from Leamington, Ontario about an hour drive from Detroit. So mark your calendars and come join us for a day of fun, relaxation, and camaraderie.
Cost, $15.00 Canadian = $11.25 US for ferry, $7.50 extra to bring bike, (bike rental $25.00 per day, Electric bike $50.00 per day ($1.34 U.S. to $1 Canadian) If you plan to rent bike please email me so I can get quantity to set us up for group discount rate. Total cost about $30.00 US for the day including your lunch for everything. $55.00 bucks if you rent a bike. Bring your lunch and bike and you’re at less than $25.00
Winery Pavilion has a concession stand for food and grills to grill what you buy. There are several restaurants on the island.

For those leaving from Detroit. If you wish to caravan up as a group we will meet at the McDonalds just across the ambassador bridge at 7:30 am, leave at 7:45 am sharp.
Directions are below if you want to drive up by your self. It is pretty easy.
Take Highway (3) Huron Church Road from the Ambassador Bridge.
all the way to Leamington about 35 miles. Turn south (right) in Leamington on Highway 77.
The road ends at Pelee Island ferry docks in Leamington. Park and line up to get your ferry ticket at the ticket office.
